Digital-asset giving
Are there tax benefits when giving digital assets?
Until virtual-asset tax begins in January 2027, a gift can go entirely to the cause without capital-gains tax drag. For your own tax treatment, speak with a specialist.
Which digital assets can I give?
Major crypto assets such as bitcoin. Supported assets differ by receiving organization and platform; see the Academy pages for current guidance.
What is the giving process?
Open a wallet → send the digital asset → receive a donation receipt. DADA Academy teaches each step.

What does 0.173 Gwei at the bottom of the home page mean?
- Gwei is a small unit of ether (ETH).
- 1 Gwei = 0.000000001 ETH (one billionth of an ETH).
- Gas price is usually shown in Gwei.
What 0.173 Gwei means
The network is currently charging 0.173 Gwei per unit of gas.
That is a sign Ethereum fees are very low. (Busy periods can reach tens or hundreds of Gwei.)
A sample fee
A simple ETH transfer uses 21,000 gas.
Fee = 21,000 × 0.173 Gwei
= 3,633 Gwei
≈ 0.000003633 ETH
At the screenshot’s Upbit ETH/KRW rate, that is about 9.26 won.
Terms
Gas: the computation a transaction needs
Gwei: the unit used to show the gas price in ETH terms
0.173 Gwei: the price per unit of gas right now (currently very low)
NFT trades and smart contracts use far more than 21,000 gas, so the same 0.173 Gwei still means a larger total fee.
